Nekaj kot pica / Something like pizza

Sestavine, ki jih najpogosteje najdemo v turški kuhinji so prav gotovo paradižnik, peteršilj, limonin sok in meso. Prav tako na mizi oziroma na krožniku nikoli ne boste pogrešali kruha in pa kake pekoče začimbe.

Lahmacun

Lahmacun (izg. lahmadžun) ima vse to: gre za nekakšno turško različico pice iz krušne peči. Testo je zelo tanko, na njemu pa je zapečena tanka plast omake narejene iz paradižnika, peteršilja in mletega mesa. Lahmacun pogosto postrežejo še z dodatnim krožnikom peteršilja in limone, tako da ga lahko jemo skoraj kot tortilje.

Lahmacun s sirom / Lahmacun with cheese

Tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice and meat are defenitely among the most common ingredients in turkish cuisine.To all these we can defenitely add bread and some spicy seasoning.

Lahmacun has all that, it’s kind of turkish version of wood-fired pizza. It can be served with extra chesse and also extra plate of parsley and lemons. You can put parsley on it, roll it and eat like tortilla.
